A piece of the London Stone may still be seen. Once moved to the wall of St. Swithins' Church, the church was demolished in 1962. The Stone now resides behind a heavy iron cage, and is nearly invisible to the passer-by. It may be viewed at the North side of Canon Street near the intersection with St. Swithins Lane, three-quarters of a mile East of St. Paul's.
